is an LA based director, writer, stand-up comedian and live-show producer. She made her directing debut with the experimental animated short, ‘Metamorphism’ which screened in festivals SXSW, Atlanta Film Festival, NFFTY, and was the most nominated short of the BFI Future Film Festival. Next, Kate will release her LMU senior thesis, ‘Canada Day’, a short film about queerness and stan culture.
In addition to filmmaking, Kate is a stand-up comedian and sketch comedy writer. She produces the monthly newcomers showcase "GREEN" at the Elysian Theater's 40-seat venue called The Vault.
