Directed by Anna Boden and Ryan Fleck 2019
I was talking to a friend about how I didn't like how "boring" Captain Marvel was and she reminded me that it was an introductory movie and that it was necessary to explain the backstory of Captain Marvel. Honestly, I am still disappointed about how clueless I was/still am about Marvel movies. Calling an introductory movie boring and slow is just quite ignorant.
I need to devote a straight week of my life to watch all of the Marvel movies but as of now... I just don't have the time. A lot of Marvel fans I know have been watching the movies in theaters as they have released over the years and that's just not how I grew up. The first movie I ever watched was Wall-E, not The Incredible Hulk.
I was still able to appreciate Captain Marvel without understanding any of the little hints to other movies, characters that are already developed and the ending most for the most part. But easily I was able to appreciate Brie Larson's performance.
